Simple Poverty Solution Africa

Problem statements
In Uganda, 41% of people live in poverty, and almost half of Uganda’s population is under the age of 15, representing one of the youngest populations in the world. Uganda also hosts the largest refugee population in Africa—more than one million refugees have fled their home countries to seek asylum in Uganda. According to the world bank, over the next decade, agricultural development will be a main priority to help improve outcomes for low-income families. Agriculture will also be an increasingly important industry for youth and refugees to find viable opportunities to earn sustainable livelihoods for themselves.
The community where we implement our projects is the poorest region in Uganda that hosts all the South Sudanese refugees and also went through the Joseph Konyi and Iddi Amin wars in the early 1980’a and early 2,000’s which has left a huge level of poverty, hunger and illiteracy. Arua hospital which is the regional referral hospital on average records 50 to 60 deaths that result from hunger monthly according to the hospital director which is still a very big number.
